Job Description: That’s a cool job! I want it!

You will partner with our in house Technical Recruiter in identifying key passive talent from the industry, competitors and referrals. This role requires strong experience in passive sourcing high caliber engineering talent. You will be the first point of contact on behalf of Splunk to passive candidates during the recruiting process. You will be responsible for sourcing a strong pipeline of Engineering professionals, candidate interaction and screening. You must be someone that takes responsibility, moves quickly and is highly organized and energetic.

Time spent roughly on an average day/week: 50-60% prospecting passive AND prospective candidates via phone, 30-40% research, 10-20% other.

Produce target list of passive candidates for assigned searches through research and heavy cold calling and networking.

Clear understanding of Splunk technology and brand and how to prospect and convert interest.

Identify candidates and upload into ATS system.

Post job descriptions in various LinkedIn groups, user groups and niche job boards.

Conduct initial phone screens.

Ability to generate a high volume and high quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines.

Communicate daily with the Staffing Manager and HR on pipeline activity.

Manage multiple searches (5-10) simultaneously with attention to meeting deadlines.

Provide weekly reports and metrics on recruiting activity.

Strategize and develop new creative ways to fill candidate pipeline.

3-5 years of previous sourcing experience in an agency or Web 2.0 company.

Demonstrated successful experience in discovering and placing candidates in the Engineering and IT industry.

Expertise on Boolean logic, AIRS and out of box recruiting.​

Confident in networking; ability to build relationships with prospective candidates and external organizations.

Proven ability to successfully prioritize and manage a large and diverse requisition load in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Team player who is self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency.

Excellent candidate assessment skills.

Hi-integrity; hi-degree of professionalism.

Can be trusted with confidential information.

Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Jobvite is a plus.

Education: Got it!

Bachelor’s degree required.
