(ATL) is a provider of contract laboratory services and managed scientific, engineering, regulatory and IT in-sourcing / outsourcing services for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, medical device, personal care and consumer product companies worldwide. Advanced Testing Laboratory is looking for a seasoned, energetic and savvy Talent Acquisition expert. The Talent Acquisition Team Lead provides strategic and tactical direction for the staffing of exempt and non-exempt level positions within Advanced Testing Laboratory. This position will lead a team of three Recruiters and one Coordinator. The purpose of the role is to ensure the team provides an exceptional applicant experience while making hiring decisions to deliver high quality Associates who will enable business objectives of Advanced Testing Laboratory. The role is highly metrics/goal oriented to ensure timely delivery of hiring requirements. Responsibilities Responsible for full life-cycle recruitment strategies including candidate sourcing, selection, and development of processes and materials. Act as primary recruiter for senior level positions and critical hiring needs. Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition Team. Maintain and report metrics. Collaborate with leadership to forecast and plan for sourcing, selection, and placement needs throughout Advanced Testing Laboratory. Develop innovative strategies to source, attract and hire high quality diverse talent to advance our business strategy. Lead internal placement efforts and develop proactive strategies to recruit for upcoming key vacancies and future needs. Develop industry contacts to hire qualified and talented individuals who compliment ATLs culture and brand, and select individuals who will provide added value to the department, business objectives and the Company. Utilize no cost or low cost recruiting methods (Internet posting and mining, strategic job fairs, print advertisement, associate referrals, college recruiting, direct sourcing and third party vendors) to manage expense controls within budget. Analyze the state of the talent market for competitiveness with respect to compensation and other factors and work closely with function leaders to deliver hiring strategies targeted towards each functional area. Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, and further augment the organization’s strategic diversity initiatives and affirmative action programs. Mentor hiring managers in conjunction with Training & Development on appropriate recruitment and interviewing practices and procedures – partnering in conducting training on lawful hiring practices for managers. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate others and to create a strong team-oriented environment Handling applicant concerns and providing timely follow-up Assisting with interviews and other Recruiter responsibilities as needed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must possess five plus (5+) years prior recruiting experience. Two plus (2+) years experience leading a team required. Prior work within a Science/ Bioscience/Pharma company HIGHLY preferred. Possess strong computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint required.
