Sourcer / Talent Scout (Contract Assignment)
Sears – Hoffman Estates, IL

A Talent Sourcer is a highly motivated, driven and energetic individual, responsible for becoming an industry expert. Act as a resource to identify, source, attract, and screen diverse, high performance industry talent.


· Develop and execute well-rounded sourcing strategies encompassing employee referrals, directory and association mining/networking, on-line/print postings, deep web searches, internal candidate databases, and direct research/name generation. Advocate the use of the innovative, competitive and efficient sourcing strategies and methods.

· Set current and future business specific sourcing strategies for talent pools that align with specific business priorities and people strategies.

· Measure the success of sourcing strategies by keeping accurate data and metrics around tools and programs that enhance decision making about the best way to identify and attract talent.

· Assist in the efforts of other sourcing engagements as assigned.

· Develop a strong candidate talent pool by contacting talent across the world; networking and building professional relationships.

· Create and document detailed Talent Sourcing Business/Project plans, which encompass timelines, strategies, cost, resources, ROI of various candidate sourcing activities and efforts

Skill/Experience Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree with 1- years of sourcing or recruitment experience.

· Highly developed assessment and creative sourcing techniques.

· Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities with proven ability in a fast paced and challenging environment.

· Must be self-motivated, guided by the highest level of ethics and integrity.

· Strong relationship building skills.

· Strong research and process methodology with interest in keeping track of industry sourcing practices, and implementing those that will provide value.

· AIRS certification preferred.

· Experience sourcing salaried professionals within retail, credit, or corporate functions environment preferred.
