Job Summary:
The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with the Recruiters and other team members to develop and execute tactical strategies aimed at generating candidate flow for full-time, direct hire positions.

Working in a fast paced, high volume recruiting environment, the role of the Sourcing Specialist will be to partner with the recruiters to provide a consistent and solid candidate pipeline.

The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for directly working with recruiters on the initial phases of recruiting, including research, sourcing, first contact, qualifying, and interviewing candidates. This individual will ensure that the recruiters he/she partners with have a qualified and managed pipeline of candidates for defined skill functions (i.e. IT, branch operations, marketing, finance, and others).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Building a continuous candidate pipeline and creating leads through various sourcing methods including but not limited to: cold calling, internet search, job boards, networking, social media, external referrals, employee referrals, professional associations/organizations, college alumni/associations, applicant tracking system, diversity sourcing, etc.

Establishing and maintaining relationships with industry professionals in order to create a pipeline of qualified resources to support current and future organizational needs.

Gathering important information via data mining of various sourcing channels that could lead to market intelligence or resumes of potential candidates.

Researching and recommending new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

Evaluating profiles/information on potential candidates and conducting initial phone screening to assess for their availability, interest, skill level, cultural fit, and network opportunities.

Creating and managing a robust and up-to-date database of highly qualified and diverse active and passive candidates pipelines for target functions.

Documenting all communication in the Applicant Tracking System.

Partner with Support Specialist to schedule interviews.

Additional HR and Recruiting administration duties may be assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge in:
Mining tools and techniques.

Skill in:
Successful cold calling; proven skill in networking and developing relationships.

Advanced and non-traditional search and sourcing techniques to uncover talent.

Ability to:
Utilize various internet tools.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience with sourcing either as a recruiter or sourcer in a search firm or corporate recruiting setting.

BA/BS degree desired

AIRs certification preferred


Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
