We’re looking for a top-notch recruiter with the talent and ability to be an ambassador for the Medical Science Liaison function at TMAC. If you are an experienced recruiter, and have the skills and experience to master delivery in key areas of responsibility, then we want to hear from you.
We at The Medical Affairs Company (TMAC) offer pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device clients a complete array of outsourcing capabilities for medical affairs activities, through our strategic and tactical Medical Science Liaison (MSL) programs, as well as MSL Consulting and Medical Communications support services. Our greatest strength is our focus: Medical and Scientific Affairs—it is our only business. TMAC’s success is predicated on the fact that the entire management team has significant Medical Affairs expertise and has been actively engaged in the contract medical affairs sector since 1997.
Essential Duties and Functions Include:
*Generate qualified candidates through proactive recruiting efforts such as passive candidate sourcing, networking, referrals, social networks (i.e. LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) professional associations, web research, applicant tracking system and our Employee Referral Program
*Participate in new program launch and expansion recruitment meetings in order to gage position description, territory needs and criteria, program directives, and client needs
*Assist in the development of open position postings, client fact sheets, and program specific job descriptions
*Assist in posting all open positions internally and externally
*Manage the candidate process, including pre-interview assessments, in-depth screening, interview coordination, and offer negotiation
*Assist in enhancing and developing recruiting tools/strategies to source candidates and continuously research advanced techniques and recruitment methods.
*Enhance and promote the TMAC "brand" both internally and externally
*Represent the company externally to clients and vendors when requested
*Provide Competitive Intelligence to Talent Acquisition Manager and Executive leadership
*Minimum 3 years human resources experience specializing in recruitment administration
*Experience recruiting healthcare professionals (PharmD, MD, PhD, RN, NP, RPh) and knowledge of the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred
*Extensive sourcing experience with tools such as LinkedIn, AIRS certification
*Proficient in applicant tracking database systems (e.g., Taleo/Recruitmax/iCIMS/Hodes iQ)
*Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven client service management skills
*Effective listening skills with an ability to build strong relationships
*Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
*Flexible and adaptable. Takes initiative but thrives within a team/collaborative environment
*Thorough knowledge of laws applicable to the recruitment, hiring, employment process: Title VII, ADEA, ADA, EPA and of concepts and legal compliance required applicable to the recruitment, hiring, employment process, including interviewing guidelines, applicant tracking, pre-employment tests, and background checks, references of potential new hires, job descriptions, and use of staffing contractors, outsourcing, and flexible staffing
*Proficient in office technology tools (e.g., MS Office and Outlook, Internet Savvy)
