|Our client located downtown Toronto is looking for the immediate assistance of a Recruiter on a contract basis. Only Recruiters with corporate recruiting experience preferably with a financial institution will be considered. As the Recruiter your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to; partnering with the business units to ensure all recruitment needs are met, provide support to a designated group, act as the first point of contact and support the business to oversee the recruitment workflow, provide consultative recruitment support to hiring managers, develop cost effective, efficient and creative solutions to sourcing challenges, generate candidate flow through a variance of sourcing channels, identify the appropriate sources and work with these sources to attract qualified candidates, educate, consult and transfer knowledge of staffing processes, diversity and interviewing skills and legislation to hiring managers, screen resumes and conduct telephone interviews for potential candidates, use behavioural interview techniques, gather and provide recommendations to hiring managers and participate in special staffing oriented projects as required.
The ideal individual for this position will possess 5 or more years of experience working in a corporate recruitment environment preferably from a financial institution. The successful candidate must possess their Bachelor’s degree. It is preferred the selected Recruiter possess or is working towards the AIRS Professional Recruiter certification and/or the CHRP, Certified Human Resources Professional certification. Someone with strong social media sourcing skills is required. In order to be considered for this position individuals must have strong sourcing skills to locate candidates with rare skill sets. They also must have strong telephone and presentation skills and experience working with e-Recruitment tools and behavioural based interviews. Bilingual skills (English/French) are not mandatory however it would be a great asset.
