Description: Position Summary:

Working independently and partnering directly with hiring managers, the Sr. Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of external and internal recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. The Sr. Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are hiring the best possible competent talent.

Major Position Responsibilities:

•Conducting intake meetings with hiring managers to develop a job profile that will be used for sourcing and screening.

•Developing job descriptions.

•Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position.

•Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.

•Conduct regular follow-up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.

•Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need.

•Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting.

•Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.

•Post openings with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues.

•Utilize the Internet for recruitment.

•Create contacts within industry.

•Conduct first line phone or on-site screening/interview to identify candidates.

•Make offers and prepare candidates for on-boarding.

Safety and Infection Control Responsibilities:

•Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including unit based specific safety and infection control requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

•6 years of full cycle recruiting experience.


•Must be proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Applicant Tracking Systems.

•Ability to prioritize multiple demands and meet time deadlines.

•Ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality at all times.

•Demonstrated experience managing a high requisition load (over 50 reqs).

•Demonstrated expertise using resume databases, internet search tools, and social networking.

•Demonstrated success in implementing strategies around diversity recruiting.


•Healthcare recruiting experience.

•PHR/SPHR Certification


•Experience sourcing with Linked In Recruiter.


•Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
