As a member of the US Staffing Team the (Contingent) Recruiting Sourcer is responsible for identifying qualified talent to Mercer by understanding our strategic talent needs. As a dedicated resource to multiple markets across multiple lines of business, this position partners with recruiting managers to uncover talent for both immediate and proactive pipeline needs.

· Generate a pipeline of highly qualified candidates at various levels, up to senior management, through a variety of research methodologies

· Engage with recruiters and managers to understand profiles of current and future needs

· Capture all findings in Talent Prospect Database or Applicant Tracking System (Taleo), and clean/update data as needed

· Prepare name generation reports for recruiting team



· Undergraduate degree or equivalent in experience and education


· 3+ years of sourcing/recruiting experience in a corporate staffing, professional search or agency setting

· Passion for sourcing; leaving no stone unturned

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to function under pressure and meet deadlines

· High level of self-initiative with the ability to work with minimal supervision

· Superior attention to detail/data integrity

· Must possess a disciplined work style and strong time management skills

· Willing and able to adjust to multiple demands and shifting priorities while demonstrating flexibility and resilience

· Extensive internet research experience, including Boolean strings

· Experience with applicant tracking and contact management tools

· Strong internal and external communication skills

· PC skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook

· Demonstrated ability to deliver diverse pipelines is a definite plus

· AIRS/CDR certifications a plus
