Talent Acquisition Manager, Biomedical Services

Serves as the Talent Acquisition Manager for the American Red Cross Biomedical Division.  Consult with key Executives, Senior Managers, and HR Business Partners on strategic initiatives related to recruitment and staffing. Analyzes market and industry data, draws conclusions, and designs, recommends and implements recruiting plans that will capture top talent for the American Red Cross.  Manages a team of Recruiters and Recruiting Coordinators to achieve service levels and performance results. Monitors and is responsible for resource management, quality of hire, cost, regulatory and compliance standards for all talent acquistion activities.  Works on Talent Acquisition projects as assigned.  Serves as the lead recruiter for executive or senior positions as necessary.  Handles full-cycle recruiting activities for critical positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, develops and negotiates compensation package, closes candidates and provides high-touch on-boarding experience. Negotiates and coordinates retained search assignments for the American Red Cross and influences and monitors vendor performance.

This position’s location will be from at a home-based office with a preference along the East coast.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires 3+ years experience in a recruiting management or supervisory role.  Requires 7+ years experience as a recruiter focused on high volume recruiting and/or professional, technical, managerial and executive positions. Demonstrated experience in passive candidate sourcing techniques, including strong networking skills. Strong client-service orientation and proven ability to partner with business leaders and hiring managers to successfully achieve recruiting results. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to build strong teams who can achieve recruiting goals.  Ability to prioritize on a consistent basis in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.   Strong recruiting compliance knowledge Basic technical knowledge of HR disciplines to include compensation, staffing, regulatory and affirmative action regulations. Strong analytic skills and proficiency in MS applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint and development of presentations.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Requires college degree or equivalent substantial experience in a recruitment role.  Travel up to 20% weekly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading recruiting initiatives and demonstrated aptitude for project management. Experience and contacts working in the non-profit industry; professional certification in HR related discipline (PHR, SPHR, CIR, CDR, etc); previous experience working in recruiting in an OFCCP-regulated industry.
