Job Summary
The Talent Sourcer is responsible for creating and maintaining a continual /active flow of prospects and candidates by utilizing advanced internet searching skills, cold calling, networking, database mining, referrals, and other advanced recruitment techniques for current and future open positions. Responsible for proactively sourcing talented and diverse prospects through innovative sourcing techniques; identifying top talent to fill critical positions by utilizing online database searches, internal databases, networking, referrals, research and telephone cold calling. The Talent Sourcer will be responsible for developing a target list of companies and prospects, in conjunction with the recruiter and hiring manager.
Job Responsibilities
  • Prepares target lists with recruiters and hiring managers and develops a sourcing strategy for each requisition.
  • Works with Taleo, Avature CRM or similar ATS and CRM software tools.
  • Sources, qualifies and presents candidates to the Recruiter and adheres to Recruiter/Sourcer Service Level Guidelines.
  • Represents Walgreens’ Companies and the Walgreens’ Companies brand to prospects.
  • Develops knowledge of current market place and trends.
  • Makes initial candidate contact and builds relationships/ networks with prospects with the primary focus on lead generation and to develop their interest level in company opportunities.
  • Manages applicant tracking system, maintains accurate candidate documentation to ensure legal compliance with employment practices, policies, procedures, and OFCCP regulations.
  • Ensures compliance for EE0/Diversity Programs.
  • Builds a robust network of top talent, gains market intelligence and assesses candidates to gauge talent alignment for a specific role and or program area.
  • Uses effective communication approaches that include proactively keeping the recruiter informed, appropriately expressing ideas and thoughts verbally in written from, and timeliness.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree and at least 3 years of experience in HR, recruiting or staffing.
  • At least 1 year of social networking experience using internet networking tools, such as Linked-In.
  • At least 1 year experience with applicant tracking systems.
  • At Least 1 year experience with Boolean Search Strings.
  • Experience in developing social media sourcing strategies.
  • At least 1 year of experience working independently to meet deadlines.
  • Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community and with vendors.
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and/or print scaling).
  • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: inserting headers, page breaks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting table columns).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in AIRS certification preferred CIR or CDR or CSSR as granted by AIRS.
  • IT, Supply Chain, and HealthCare Sourcing experience.
  • Experience with Xray, Divers or other software sourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of organizational design and structures.
