Due to the expansion of the newly created global Sourcing CoE, this role offers the opportunity to lead assignments identifying candidates for GE’s most critical positions. You will manage senior stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and that the Sourcing function is making a difference to caliber of people GE hires.

Responsibilities include: Delivery

  • Executing sourcing assignments for open and pipeline positions
  • Market Mapping/Research
  • Build ideal candidate profiles, EVP and sourcing maps
  • Candidate identification qualification
  • Use GE’s CRM and other search tools
  • Sell the GE opportunity to candidates

Attraction Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) Tactics

  • Contribute to the development of tactics for each talent community
  • Execute tactics and monitor effectiveness
  • Identify, train manage ‘Ambassadors’ for each of the talent pools to assist in executing tactics and engaging candidates10%

Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders – OTD, HR, Hiring Managers, GTR COELeaders candidates
  • Be an ambassador for the Sourcing function
  • Be seen as a subject matter expert – influence, educate and persuade stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with external providers i.e. RPO’s and Vendors

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

  • Delivering end to end Sourcing assignments within an in-house or RPO environment. These assignments would include passive candidate sourcing for open roles
  • Experience with Market mapping and creating/maintaining talent pools
  • Candidate identification via Boolean/internet searching
  • The ability to manage and influence business leaders and Human Resource professionals to drive sourcing and ensure its success
  • Compiling relevant Market intelligence and knowledge, core industry trends, competitors analysis, salary bench-marking and general employment market trends
  • Identifying innovative sourcing channels and search tools to attract best talent and ensure GE is the market leader in this field
  • Sourcing technologies and associated CRM tools
  • AIRS (Certified Internet Researchers) Or equivalent accredited preferred
  • Is credible, builds/sustains relationships, has excellent influencing and persuading capabilities
  • Can promote the purpose and strategy of the Sourcing COE so that stakeholders can understand and value the services offered
  • Possess the a high level of business ‘savvy’ and commercial acumen
  • Can operate at both a detailed and high level – can view issues strategically, tactically and operationally
  • Demonstrates innovation when developing solutions strategies
  • Can prioritise issues and workload
  • Results orientated
  • Strong writing, presentation and analysis skills
  • Shows initiative
